GO FOR LAUNCH! TO MARS (PA)
The Go For Launch! To Mars (PA) 2025 program is set to take place on Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day in Mars, PA.
During the 2-day event, students will:
EXPERIENCE the wonder of human spaceflight research.
COLLABORATE with an in-person team of astronauts, aerospace scientists and engineers.
STRENGTHEN communication skills through presentations.
COMPETE to have a science experiment flown to the International Space Station.

At Go For Launch! you'll get the chance to work hands on
with an astronaut throughout each day of the event.

2024 EVENT
SUMMARY
In 2024, the inaugural Go For Launch! To Mars (PA) event brought together 26 students from 13 different schools across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia for an immersive two-day experience in space science and engineering. Led by Astronaut Wendy Lawrence and former Astronaut Trainer Michelle Lucas, students engaged in hands-on STEM activities, including launch vehicle design challenges and experiment development for potential flight to the ISS.
